Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/Systems Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is an 12+ month contract opportunity. The Windows Server Build Automation Engineer is responsible for developing a next generation, highly automated server build environment, leveraging HashiCorp Packer and CI/CD pipelines to automate image creation and deployment. This senior role requires deep expertise in Windows Server OS components, server automation, Ansible-driven configuration management, and extensive PowerShell development. The engineer will work with modern DevOps tooling such as JIRA and agile delivery frameworks to gather requirements, design solutions, and transition them to operational support.
Responsibilities: - Develop a next generation, highly automated server build environment
- Leverage HashiCorp Packer and CI/CD pipelines to automate image creation and deployment
- Work independently and in distributed teams to gather requirements
- Design and test new service offerings
- Document solutions and transition them to operational support
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience with MS Windows Server
- 4+ years of experience with Windows Server 2022/2025
- 5+ years of PowerShell development experience
- 4+ years of experience with Ansible
- 2+ years of experience with HashiCorp Packer and Chocolatey
- 2+ years of experience with Terraform
- Experience with RedHat Linux
- Proficiency with GIT, Artifactory, NuGet, and Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of DevOps, JSON-based web services, and agile delivery frameworks
Desired skills: - Automation for large-scale cloud deployments
- VMware vRealize
- Linux scripting (bash/python)
- API development with tools like Swagger WebAPI
Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
