Job Summary
We are seeking a strong, hands-on Java Technical Lead with 12+ years of overall IT experience and 6+ years of experience in Agile delivery leadership.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Apache Kafka, microservices, and database technologies, along with proven technical leadership and delivery management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Drive technical architecture and solution design for microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs.
Design, develop, and maintain event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
Leverage AWS services to build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications.
Design, optimize, and manage SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
Provide hands-on technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Lead Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Mentor developers and promote engineering excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
Required Skills
Overall Experience: 12+ years of IT experience.
Agile Delivery Leadership: 6+ years of experience leading Agile teams and managing delivery activities.
Java: Strong hands-on expertise in Java development.
Spring Boot: Extensive experience building enterprise-grade applications and REST APIs.
AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
Apache Kafka: Strong knowledge of Kafka, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous messaging.
Databases: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Microservices: Proven experience designing and developing distributed microservices-based applications.
Technical Leadership: Ability to drive technical decisions, mentor team members, and lead complex development initiatives.
Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Scrum, sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
Team Coordination: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
