Gejits Infotech Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Systems Architect / .NET Architect to join our state client’s team and design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise applications and cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in AWS cloud architecture, Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server/Oracle, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, REST APIs, and enterprise application architecture.
This position will serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert, working closely with application development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to design cloud solutions, support cloud migrations, automate infrastructure, troubleshoot complex production issues, and establish architecture and development standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, highly available AWS cloud architectures supporting enterprise applications and services.
- Serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert for AWS cloud solutions.
- Provide architecture guidance and cloud best practices to development, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Develop and enforce cloud governance, architecture standards, and operational procedures as part of a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and other Infrastructure as Code technologies.
- Monitor AWS environments for system performance, availability, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives involving assessment, planning, architecture, design, and migration from on-premises environments to the cloud.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud-based solutions aligned with technical and business requirements.
- Implement and manage cloud security controls, IAM, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and enterprise application issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
- Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, OData, XML, and Web Services.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Analyze data in response to ad hoc requests and troubleshoot application or data anomalies.
- Develop software development estimates and software test plans as required.
- Work with Azure DevOps pipelines and release processes.
- Coordinate production deployments through established change-control procedures.
- Develop process flows, technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Establish connectivity between internal and external systems.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, developers, and administrators.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend technologies that improve reliability, efficiency, security, and service delivery.
- Respond to production incidents, outages, and other critical support situations as required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
