Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Analyst to support healthcare revenue cycle operations through data analysis, reporting, system optimization, and process improvement.

This is a non-clinical healthcare IT/analytics role focused on improving billing accuracy, reimbursement, claims performance, financial outcomes, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Clinical Informatics, and IT teams to analyze data, develop meaningful reports, support healthcare systems, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare revenue cycle operational and financial data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance revenue cycle reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Support healthcare revenue cycle systems and Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms.
• Monitor key revenue cycle performance indicators and provide actionable insights.
• Analyze billing, claims, reimbursement, denials, collections, and other revenue cycle activities.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Clinical Informatics, IT, and other business stakeholders.
• Support EHR and revenue cycle system implementation, optimization, and governance initiatives.
• Analyze the relationship between clinical documentation and revenue cycle outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, reimbursement, claims processing, collections, and overall financial performance.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support revenue cycle process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Prepare ad hoc reports, analyses, and presentations based on business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of experience supporting healthcare revenue cycle operations, healthcare financial systems, or healthcare reporting/analytics.
• Experience working with hospital revenue cycle systems and/or EHR platforms.
• Experience developing reports using healthcare reporting tools or Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.
• Strong understanding of:
