Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Basic math skills required for measurements and product verification
Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years of electrical wiring, electrical assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience interpreting wire lists, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Physical Capabilities
- Frequently stand, bend, reach, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive assembly tasks
- Regular use of vision and hearing to inspect, assemble, and test products
- Ability to frequently work on ladders and maneuver in manufacturing workspaces
- Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing production environment
Job Duties
- Read and interpret process plans, specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Assemble, wire, and install electrical components and distribution equipment
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and component mounting
- Test completed assemblies using electrical test equipment to ensure quality and functionality
- Complete inspection records, manufacturing documentation, and quality checklists
- Record design modifications and deviations from original specifications
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and production teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety regulations
