Role Summary – Technology Project Manager (Infrastructure Engineering)
The client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex IT infrastructure projects across networking, server, cloud, data center, and office facilities environments. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, partnering with engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives.
Key areas of focus include:
- Cisco network infrastructure projects (routing, switching, SD-WAN, firewalls)
- Windows Server and VMware environments
- Azure cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure initiatives
- Data center and hardware refresh projects
- Third-party connectivity integrations (Bloomberg, CRD, State Street, etc.)
- Office relocation and construction-related IT projects
- Vendor management and stakeholder communication
- Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and ITIL-based change management processes
The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience in infrastructure environments, technical understanding of networking and server technologies, experience managing cloud migration projects, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership. Financial services industry experience is highly preferred.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of Infrastructure/Technical Project Management experience
- Cisco networking project experience
- Windows Server and VMware infrastructure knowledge
- Azure or cloud migration project experience
- Jira and Confluence
- Vendor and stakeholder management
Preferred Skills
- PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification
- Financial services background
- ServiceNow and ITIL experience
- Data center operations and office relocation projects
- Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local exposure
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid) with occasional travel to San Ramon, Sunnyvale, Boston, and Virginia as project needs require.
