Dynamics 365 Solutions Engineer

The Dynamics 365 Solutions Engineer is a technical specialist responsible for developing customized solutions to extend CRM platforms to meet the unique needs of an organization. This person will play a central role in translating business requirements into functional CRM solutions, ensuring the system is optimized for user productivity, data integrity, and business value.

The CRM Developer is responsible for the following results:

• Collaborate with product teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform complex analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents.
• Design and implement custom components, plugins, integrations, and extensions using programming languages and frameworks supported by the CRM (e.g., JavaScript, C#, .NET, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Develop and maintain integrations between the CRM and other enterprise systems (ERP, marketing automation, customer service platforms), ensuring seamless data exchange and process automation.
• Implement data migration, cleansing, and transformation processes to ensure high data quality and integrity within the CRM.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate new features and configurations. Manage deployment processes using version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and support materials for ongoing maintenance.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively recommend enhancements based on user feedback and evolving business needs. ▪ 5+ years of experience in CRM configuration and development, or related software engineering roles, with a proven record of delivering technical CRM solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Skilled in customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 using built-in tools for entities, workflows, business rules, dashboards, and user interfaces.
• Experience designing and implementing custom components, plugins, integrations, and extensions using programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, C#, .NET, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience managing deployment processes using version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

EDUCATION

The preferred candidate will hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

• 5+ years of experience in CRM configuration and development, or related software engineering roles, with a proven record of delivering technical CRM solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Skilled in customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 using built-in tools for entities, workflows, business rules, dashboards, and user interfaces.
• Experience designing and implementing custom components, plugins, integrations, and extensions using programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, C#, .NET, and REST/SOAP APIs.
