Location: West Des Moines, Iowa (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance software applications and automation solutions
Analyze complex technical problems and develop effective, scalable solutions
Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into technical specifications
Contribute to project planning, including scoping, timelines, and implementation strategies
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications in alignment with development standards
Build and execute automated test scripts and support quality assurance efforts
Design and manage database structures while ensuring data integrity and performance
Implement and support security measures to protect systems and data
Conduct performance and functional testing, identify issues, and implement improvements
Recommend and implement system enhancements and upgrades
Ensure system compatibility, integration, and interoperability
Create system documentation, diagrams, and models (UML, flow charts, ER diagrams)
Perform system analysis to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Support on-call rotations and assist with production issues when needed
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)
5+ years of experience in application development or systems analysis
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to recommend solutions
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience leading or guiding technical workstreams without formal management responsibility

Strong understanding of modern programming languages and development frameworks
