Systems Analyst 2

Description:

• Collaborate with analysts, designers, and engineers to build new applications, services, and automation solutions.

• Define requirements, scope projects, and translate business needs into clear technical specifications.

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain high quality software using modern engineering practices.

• Build and maintain automation test scripts; troubleshoot issues uncovered through testing.

• Design, implement, and optimize SQL Server and NoSQL databases.

• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with architectural best practices.

• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or upgrades.

• Create system models and diagrams (UML, ERDs, flowcharts) to communicate design decisions.

• Conduct ROI and cost benefit analyses to support technical recommendations.

• Research emerging tools and technologies to guide future enhancements.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced team members.

• Support critical deployments, including occasional after hours or weekend work.

  REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)

• 5+ years of software development experience or equivalent (preferred)

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams

• Proven problem solving ability and comfort tackling complex technical challenges

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Experience coordinating or guiding the work of other team members

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and modern development practices
