Role : SAP MM S4 Consultant - Data Conversion Specialist

Project location : Remote/as need basis onsite expenses paid (Orlando, FL or Newtown Square, PA)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM module implementation, configuration, and optimization for procurement and inventory management processes
• Execute comprehensive data conversion projects including RTP (Real-Time Processing) for Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and associated text data
• Design and implement data migration strategies using LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) and other SAP migration tools
• Configure core MM processes including material master data, vendor master data, purchase info records, and source lists
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes from purchase requisition creation through goods receipt and invoice verification
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and provide ongoing support for MM-related queries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with FI, CO, SD, and other SAP modules
• Provide end-user training and create comprehensive documentation including business process flows and configuration guides

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• SAP MM Certification: Minimum 5+ years hands-on SAP MM configuration and implementation experience
• RTP Conversion Expertise: Proven experience with Real-Time Processing conversions for Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions
• Data Migration Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of LSMW, SAP Data Services, and migration methodologies for text and transactional data
• Transaction Expertise: Proficiency with key MM transactions including ME21N/ME22N/ME23N (Purchase Orders), ME51N/ME52N/ME53N (Purchase Requisitions), and MIGO (Goods Receipt)
• Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of MM integration with other SAP modules and external systems

Functional Skills

• Business Process Understanding: Deep knowledge of procure-to-pay processes, inventory management, and material valuation
• Industry Experience: Experience in aerospace and defense, manufacturing, or similar industries preferred
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple conversion projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud implementations
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba, SRM, or other procurement solutions
• Familiarity with BAPIs (BAPI_PO_CREATE1, BAPI_PR_CREATE) and enhancement frameworks
• Experience with release strategies and approval workflows
• Understanding of output management and document processing
