Role: SQL Server DBA
Location: Louisville, KY (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week, Local Candidates Only)
Visa: TN, EAD
Rate: $50/hr on W2
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
We are seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA with strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, and capacity planning. The ideal candidate should have solid communication skills and experience working with SQL Server environments and cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain SQL Server databases in production environments
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning
• Monitor database health, availability, and security
• Support database deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve database issues
• Assist with cloud-based database solutions (Azure preferred)
Required Skills:
• Strong experience as a SQL Server DBA
• Expertise in database performance tuning and optimization
• Experience with capacity planning and database monitoring
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in enterprise production environments
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• Experience supporting high availability and disaster recovery environments
