Role Overview:

We are looking for highly skilled Automation Engineer specialized in Runbook Automation, Orchestration and DevOps with deep expertise in Runbook Automation, Ansible or vRO and automation workflows on private and public cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python, .NET, MSSQL, Operating System (Windows / RHEL) and ITSM along with hands-on experience in PowerShell, Bash scripting, API integrations, Ansible and Active Directory.

This role requires deep knowledge of Automation, VMware vSphere, Public Cloud services, storage, networking, and backup across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and private cloud solutions. The Engineer will be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimizing iAutomate workflows while ensuring seamless identification and addition of new use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Automation & Development:
  • Strong Knowledge of Runbook Automation Tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM (SNOW / Cherwell / BMC Helix etc.,)
  • Strong Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI-CD Pipeline, Ansible.
  • Strong knowledge on Metadata, Tags and Regex.
  • Build and maintain RESTful API and SOAP-based integrations to interact with ITSM, PAM, CI-CD Pipeline and Runbook Engines.
  • Develop custom automation scripts using .NET, Python, PowerShell, Bash to automate remediate incidents, SR’s and CR’s for on-premise, Public Cloud and Network Infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement robust automation workflows to auto remediate Incidents, SR’s and CR’s.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash.
  • Optimize database interactions using MSSQL (Stored Procedures, Indexing, Query Performance Tuning).
  • Ensure automation code quality, reusability, and scalability by following best practices.
  • Able to troubleshoot SQL, API Based Integrations, Ansible and Runbook Automation tools.
  • Integration with CI/CD pipelines for cloud automation using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps etc.
  • Automate patching, compliance enforcement, and governance policies across cloud environments.
  • Monitor and optimize automation pipelines for high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
