A top financial services company is seeking a Business Analyst (Salesforce) to support their growing team in Tysons, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Play a central role in bridging business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, and third-party vendors
- Translate program requirements into clear, actionable documentation that enables efficient and accurate development and delivery.
- Capture business needs and facilitate working sessions
- Develop user stories and functional requirements and ensure that the delivery team has what it needs to execute with clarity and confidence
- Serve as a critical connective layer across business and technology, helping to ensure that loyalty program requirements are well-defined, prioritized, and delivery-ready
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on technology or digital transformation programs, preferably within financial services, banking, or credit union environments
- Strong requirements gathering skills, including experience conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitation workshops, and process discovery sessions
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality documentation, including user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases
- Experience working across cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product owners, UX/design, engineering, QA, and third-party vendors
- Experience with Salesforce platforms (Experience Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, or Service Cloud)
- Comfort working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments; experience grooming backlogs, supporting sprint planning, and tracking delivery against requirements
- Proficiency with standard BA and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent
- Ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous information from multiple sources into clear, actionable, and delivery-ready documentation
Desired Qualifications:
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent BA certification
- Prior experience in Financial Services or Banking environments
- Experience working within Salesforce-based programs or in a financial services organization
