Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior ETL Developer with 10+ years of experience in data integration, ETL development, database programming, and enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing and developing scalable ETL pipelines and working with large, complex datasets across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical ETL specifications.
  • Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple sources.
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
  • Work with relational databases and large-volume datasets.
  • Monitor ETL workflows, troubleshoot failures, and resolve production issues.
  • Optimize ETL jobs and database processes for performance and reliability.
  • Implement data validation and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Support data warehouse and data mart development.
  • Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, data mappings, and ETL specifications.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, or similar ETL tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
  • Experience developing complex ETL workflows and data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including fact and dimension tables, star/snowflake schemas, and slowly changing dimensions.
  • Experience with data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.
  • Experience working across the complete SDLC.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform data services.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Google Cloud Dataflow.
  • Experience with Python, PySpark, or Shell scripting.
  • Experience working with Kafka or other streaming technologies.
  • Knowledge of data lake, lakehouse, and modern cloud data architectures.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience supporting high-volume enterprise data environments.
