Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect with a strong Retail Banking background to design and implement enterprise-scale cloud data solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure data services, Databricks, and modern data architecture, with experience supporting banking data platforms and analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data architecture using Azure and Azure Databricks.
Develop modern data lake/lakehouse and data warehouse solutions.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to define data strategies and architecture.
Build and optimize data pipelines, integrations, and analytics platforms.
Ensure data governance, security, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.

Required Skills

10+ years of Data Architecture/Data Engineering experience.
Strong expertise in Azure Data Services, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse Analytics, and Spark.
Proficiency in SQL and Python.
Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
Strong Retail Banking experience is mandatory.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Azure certifications are a plus.
