We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join a team focused on building and enhancing an Ansible Automation Platform for the enterprise. This role involves handling complex engineering and analytical tasks, developing controls for automation platforms, and implementing an SDLC chain for managing automation content. The position requires a proficient technical resource who will contribute as a team member and an individual to design, develop, and implement systems engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to building and enhancing an enterprise-wide Ansible Automation Platform.
- Manage components of complex engineering and analytical tasks.
- Assist in establishing input/output processes and parameters for hardware compatibility and subsystem integration.
- Develop controls for automation platforms with a focus on shared catalog content.
- Implement the SDLC chain for managing automation content.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities, including technical support and systems programming.
- Influence and direct activities of teams related to special initiatives or operations.
- Consider applications and platforms across the portfolio for symbiotic alignment and service offering augmentation.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of top-tier systems engineering experience.
- 5+ years with Ansible Automation Platform.
- 5+ years with TrueSight Server Orchestrator.
- 5+ years of expert-level Unix/Linux administration and scripting (YAML, XML, Python, Perl, Shell).
Skills:- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
- Proficiency in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals across the organization.
- Ability to understand and model complex application infrastructure for compliance reporting.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Github Copilot is a plus.
- Familiarity with TrueSight Server Automation (BladeLogic) to support current engineering needs and aid in the transition to Ansible.
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
