Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for large-scale, cross-functional projects, from discovery through implementation and post-launch review.
Partner with senior stakeholders (VP/Director level and above) to define business goals, translate them into functional and technical requirements, and align them with organizational strategy.
Conduct in-depth as-is and to-be process analysis, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
Own and manage the requirements lifecycle — elicitation, documentation (BRD/FRD/User Stories), validation, traceability, and sign-off.
Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews to drive consensus across diverse teams (business, technology, compliance, operations).
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery environments.
Develop and maintain process models, data flow diagrams, use cases, and other artifacts using industry-standard tools (Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN, etc.).
Perform data analysis and build business cases, ROI models, and cost-benefit analyses to support strategic decisions.
Support UAT planning and execution, ensuring delivered solutions meet defined business requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and advisor to leadership on industry best practices, emerging trends, and process transformation.
Mentor and guide junior/mid-level business analysts, reviewing their deliverables and providing coaching.
Manage multiple concurrent projects/initiatives, balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Drive change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, systems, or tools across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in business analysis, process consulting, or a related field.
Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master''s degree preferred).
Proven experience leading requirements gathering and documentation for large, complex, enterprise-level projects.
Strong expertise in Business Analysis methodologies (BABOK, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, SQL, and Excel (advanced).
Strong understanding of SDLC and experience working closely with technical teams (Developers, QA, Architects).
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with C-level/senior executives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured solutions.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating executive-level presentations and reports.
Experience with data analysis/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.
Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Six Sigma is highly preferred.
Experience in [Insert Industry, e.g., BFSI / Healthcare / Retail / IT Services] domain is a strong plus.
