Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Manager (Part-Time) to lead and manage all core HR functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and HR strategy. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong expertise in IT consulting environments, HR operations, and legal compliance, capable of working independently and driving HR initiatives end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Own and drive HR policies, frameworks, and best practices across the organization
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on HR-related matters
Compensation & Benefits
- Design and maintain a competitive compensation strategy based on market research and pay surveys
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends and recommend strategic improvements
- Oversee and optimize employee benefits programs
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for key roles
- Draft and review offer letters, employment agreements, and HR documentation
- Oversee onboarding to ensure a seamless and compliant employee experience
Employee Relations & Retention
- Design and implement employee retention and engagement strategies
- Resolve complex employee relations issues with a structured and compliant approach
- Foster a positive and performance-driven work culture
Compliance & Legal
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with legal counsel on HR policies, contracts, and employment matters
- Maintain employee records and ensure full statutory compliance
HR Operations
- Oversee payroll processes and HR systems
- Manage HR documentation, reporting, and audits
- Ensure efficient and scalable HR processes
Communication & People Management
- Drive effective communication and organizational alignment
- Support training, orientation, and employee development initiatives
- Lead human capital management, reporting, and workforce planning
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with leadership responsibilities
- Experience in IT Consulting industry strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of US employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with legal/paralegal aspects of HR (contracts, compliance, documentation)
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and documentation skills
- Expertise in recruitment, payroll, compensation, and benefits
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
