Summary

Position: Full-Stack AI Engineer (2 Resources)

Required Skills

  • Angular (preferred latest versions) for frontend application development
  • Java / Spring Boot for middleware and API development
  • Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, API Management, Storage, Azure AI Services)
  • REST API design and integration
  • Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines
  • SQL and data integration experience
  • Strong understanding of secure healthcare application development

AI Experience

  • Experience building AI-powered applications and workflow automation
  • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI and agent-based architectures
  • Experience implementing conversational assistants, summarization, document intelligence, and knowledge retrieval solutions
  • Ability to integrate AI services into existing business workflows

Preferred Experience

  • Healthcare payer, care management, utilization management, or population health solutions
  • HL7 FHIR APIs and healthcare interoperability standards
  • Case management or care coordination platforms
  • HIPAA-compliant application development

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive web applications for care management users
  • Integrate frontend solutions with CareAxis backend services and enterprise APIs
  • Build AI-powered capabilities that improve productivity and clinical workflows
  • Collaborate with SCAN architects, product owners, and interoperability teams
  • Participate in solution design, development, testing, and production deployment

Experience Level

  • One senior engineer (8-10+ years)
  • One lead/senior engineer (10+ years with architecture and technical leadership experience)

  • U.S.-based resources
  • Remote work acceptable with Pacific Time overlap
