Neos is Seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer (SDET) for a long-term contract role with our client in Austin, TX.

***HYBRID - ONLY CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE AUSTIN, TX AREA (Within 50-mile radius) WILL BE CONSIDERED***

Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite Austin, TX 78751

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.

1. Coordinates and/or performs work on programming projects including those that are highly complex in nature and/or large in scale.

2. Coordinates and/or writes test plans and test data.

3. Writes complex software code and debugs software.

4. Analyzes proposed applications for software regression suites.

5. Analyzes, reviews, and revises software to increase operating efficiency or to adapt new procedures.

6. Prepares detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed applications.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

8 years Required Experience with designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically

8 years Required Experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios

8 years Required Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments

8 years Required Experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing

8 years Required Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies

8 years Required Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly

8 years Required Strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions

8 years Required Acquires knowledge of the Customer's business in assigned area

8 years Required Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

8 years Required Able to work with Customer as needed during test cycle

8 years Required Excellent analytical, problem-solving, team-playing, and oral and written communication skills

8 years Required Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities

2 years Preferred Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates

2 years Preferred Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies

2 years Preferred Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components
