About the Role
Our client, a leading national provider in the clean-energy and home-technology sector, is seeking a highly skilled Systems Support Specialist to deliver exceptional on-site technical support at one of their key corporate locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of workplace technology services.
In this high-visibility role, you will provide white-glove support to executive leadership, serve as the senior escalation point for complex issues, and help drive operational excellence across the IT support environment. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, collaborate across technical teams, and support strategic technology initiatives that enhance the employee and leadership experience.
This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong discretion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, executive-facing environments.

Job Description
Executive & VIP Technology Support
  • Provide high-priority, white-glove support to executive leadership and other VIP stakeholders.
  • Ensure technology readiness for board meetings, leadership sessions, and high-visibility events.
  • Maintain and optimize executive workstations, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
  • Deliver rapid, confidential support while anticipating future technology needs.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance productivity and executive experience.
Technical Escalation & Troubleshooting
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for advanced desktop, mobility, collaboration, and workplace technology issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex problems related to operating systems, authentication, enterprise applications, and endpoint management.
  • Collaborate with network, security, application, and systems teams to address cross-functional issues.
  • Drive root cause analysis to prevent recurring problems.
Site Technology Ownership
  • Ensure operational readiness of all on-site IT infrastructure, including endpoints, collaboration systems, and shared equipment.
  • Manage and support conference room AV systems and video conferencing technologies.
  • Support or lead site-wide technology initiatives such as office expansions, equipment refreshes, and upgrades.
  • Serve as the primary on-site technical point of contact for business and facilities partners.
Service Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Improve support processes and service delivery standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Analyze ticket trends and identify areas for automation, efficiency gains, and improved reliability.
  • Promote IT service management best practices and service level compliance.
Mentorship & Team Leadership
  • Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance on complex issues.
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Foster consistent service standards, documentation practices, and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as a technical leader within the support team and a trusted partner across IT operations.
Incident & Service Request Management
  • Manage and resolve high-impact incidents and service requests with urgency and professionalism.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and appropriate escalation through the ITSM platform.
  • Maintain accurate asset management and lifecycle tracking for on-site technology.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in desktop support, site support, or executive/VIP IT support.
  • Proven experience supporting executive leadership or high-profile users.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in Windows and/or macOS environments.
  • Hands-on experience with conference room AV systems and video conferencing technologies.
  • Experience with identity and access systems (e.g., Azure AD, Okta).
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Strong professionalism, communication skills, and customer-service orientation in high-visibility settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Intune, Jamf, or SCCM.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or other enterprise productivity tools.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP).
  • Experience supporting large corporate office environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Apple, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile devices within enterprise environments.
