Summary

  • Test Strategy & Planning: Review Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and User Stories to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios tailored to Pega applications.

  • Pega Execution & Validation:

    • Validate Pega Case Management workflows, UI portals, Data Transforms, Decision Tables, Decision Trees, and SLA rules.

    • Test Pega integrations including REST/SOAP APIs, database connections, and external web services.

    • Validate role-based access control (RBAC), access groups, privileges, and portal security permissions.

  • Automation Testing: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or Pega s native Scenario Testing framework and Pega Unit.

  • Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and re-test defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM. Collaborate with developers to facilitate root-cause analysis and timely bug resolution.

  • Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
