Job Title: Lead Oracle AR / O2C Functional Consultant
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Oracle AR / O2C Functional Consultant to join a strategic Oracle transformation engagement supporting Oracle EBS R12 to Fusion Cloud migrations, Oracle Fusion implementations, and enterprise production support initiatives.

This is a senior client-facing role requiring deep expertise in Oracle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes. The consultant will be responsible for driving functional workshops, solution design discussions, conference room pilots (CRPs), user acceptance testing (UAT), month-end close support, and stakeholder management across Finance and IT organizations.

The ideal candidate must possess strong functional knowledge combined with excellent communication and leadership capabilities. Candidates must be comfortable engaging directly with Finance Controllers, AR Managers, Tax Leads, Accounting teams, and executive stakeholders from the beginning of the engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle AR & O2C Functional Leadership
• Lead Oracle AR and O2C workstreams across implementation, migration, enhancement, and support projects
• Drive end-to-end business process discussions covering Order → Invoice → Receipt → Application → Close lifecycle
• Analyze current-state business processes and design future-state Oracle AR/O2C solutions
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend scalable Oracle ERP solutions aligned with business objectives
• Provide functional expertise for Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud AR modules
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including GL, AP, Tax, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Technical teams

Oracle AR Functional Configuration & Support
• Configure and support Oracle AR functionalities including:

• AutoInvoice

• AutoReceipt

• AutoAccounting

• Lockbox Processing

• Receipt Classes & Methods

• Transaction Types

• Customer Accounts & Sites

• Payment Terms

• Memo Lines

• Remittance Advice

• Revenue Contingencies

• Troubleshoot functional issues related to transaction processing, accounting generation, and reconciliation
• Support interfaces, inbound/outbound integrations, and reporting requirements
• Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, extensions, and data conversion activities

Month-End Close & Reconciliation
• Lead AR subledger close activities and period-end processing
• Perform subledger to GL reconciliation and identify reconciliation variances
• Resolve unaccounted transactions and SLA/accounting exceptions
• Support revenue recognition cutoff procedures and close controls
• Ensure accounting integrity and compliance with financial reporting standards
• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams during critical close cycles

Transaction Lifecycle Expertise
• Manage complete transaction lifecycle processes including:

• Invoices

• Debit Memos

• Credit Memos

• Adjustments

• Receipts & Applications

• Chargebacks

• Write-offs

• On-account Receipts

• Clearly understand and explain accounting impacts of various AR transactions
• Handle approval workflows and transaction controls
• Support dispute management and collections-related processes

Intercompany (AGIS) Functional Expertise
• Lead Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS) setup and operational support
• Configure intercompany organizations, transaction types, approval hierarchies, and auto-invoicing rules
• Support recurring intercompany transactions and batch processing
• Manage end-to-end intercompany transaction lifecycle:

• Initiator side AR invoice generation

• Recipient side AP invoice generation

• Intercompany reconciliation

• Mismatch resolution

• Coordinate with GL and consolidation teams for elimination entries and netting activities
• Support Fusion Cloud Intercompany module implementations and migration activities

Reporting & Compliance
• Support Oracle AR reporting and reconciliation requirements including:

• Aging Reports

• Collections Reporting

• Receipt Reports

• Transaction Registers

• Remittance Advice Reports

• Reconciliation Reports

• Configure aging buckets and support collections processes
• Support withholding tax setup, reporting, and compliance handling
• Ensure alignment with SOX/internal audit controls and accounting compliance requirements

Client Engagement & Leadership
• Lead business workshops, requirement gathering sessions, CRPs, and UAT cycles
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions with Finance leadership and IT teams
• Provide functional walkthroughs, solution demonstrations, and status updates
• Prepare and maintain:

• Functional Design Documents (FDDs)

• BRDs/FRDs

• Test Scripts

• Defect Logs

• Training Documentation

• Status Reports

• Mentor junior consultants and support cross-functional project coordination
• Handle stakeholder escalations and functional issue resolution

Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of hands-on Oracle AR functional consulting experience
• Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
• Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes
• Strong expertise in month-end close and AR reconciliation activities
• Hands-on experience with AutoInvoice, AutoReceipt, AutoAccounting, and Lockbox
• Strong AGIS/intercompany processing experience
• Experience leading client workshops, CRPs, and UAT sessions
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to articulate complex business processes clearly and confidently

Preferred Qualifications:
• Oracle EBS R12 to Fusion Cloud migration experience
• Experience with Vertex, Avalara, or OneSource tax engine integrations
• Experience in multi-org, multi-currency, and multi-ledger environments
• Exposure to SOX, internal audit, or external audit processes
• Industry experience in Financial Services, Technology, or Life Sciences
• Oracle Fusion Cloud Intercompany module experience preferred
