DPP is seeking a Full-Stack Developer for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
 
Work location: Partial Onsite: Onsite 3 days a week (Tues.-Thurs.) Remote Monday and Friday and as needed.
Duration: 12 months
Term: W2 position
 
Position summary:
  • The Full-Stack Developer will work with a 15-member team responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of member self-service portals, including:
    • Developing and implementing new features and requirements
    • Enhancing and maintaining existing code bases
    • Designing and executing unit tests
    • Validating and verifying code changes
    • Troubleshooting and debugging production issues, and
    • Managing source code, builds, deployments, and releases across environments
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to adapt and effectively manage multiple concurrent work requests, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to learning and performance.
  • This role requires a collaborative team player who can also exhibit leadership qualities, take ownership of initiatives, and contribute positively to both team and organizational success.

Minimum required work experience:
  • 4 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.
About the team:
  • The Commercial Web team consists of 15 members, including two team leads, two system designers, and ten developers spanning a range of experience levels.
  • The team is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of member self-service portals, including the organization’s Toolkit mobile application. Recently, they completed a major technical rewrite of the web portal, modernizing the platform and aligning it with current technology stacks.
  • The team continuously delivers new features and enhancements to improve user experience and functionality.
  • This is a highly diverse group in terms of ethnicity, personal backgrounds, and professional experience, with an impressive average tenure of 10 years at the organization. 
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 8 years without a degree)
