responsibilities:
Business & Technical Analysis
- Act as the primary liaison between the Commercial Credit & Pricing business stakeholders and the engineering teams to capture, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Map data flows and integration points across a complex hybrid tech stack, including vendor platforms, internal databases, and API layers.
- Support the organization's strategic goal of capturing a 30% market share by ensuring the pricing application is agile, scalable, and highly performant.
Modernization & In-House Architecture Migration - Assist in the strategic transition from third-party vendor applications to proprietary, in-house built solutions to mitigate license costs and supply-chain vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with data and backend teams to optimize data structures within Oracle and Databricks.
AI & Developer Experience Innovation - Partner with internal AI research teams (including the AI Accelerator agent teams) to pilot and integrate AI agents into the development lifecycle.
- Help define requirements for AI-driven QA code generation and support proof-of-concept (POC) testing to optimize developer velocity.
Cybersecurity & Risk Mitigation - Maintain an uncompromising stance on application security, ensuring all requirements align with strict vulnerability and threat-management policies.
- Analyze systems for potential zero-trace exploits (e.g., Mythos-style vulnerabilities) and ensure comprehensive logging, auditing, and telemetry requirements are embedded in every feature.
Required Skills & Qualifications Domain & Business Knowledge - Commercial Credit & Pricing: Solid understanding of commercial banking, credit risk, commercial lending lifecycle, or corporate pricing models.
- Global Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with distributed global teams across multiple time zones (US and India).
Technical Competencies - Frontend/Backend Awareness: Familiarity with architectures built on React, Java, and Python.
- Data & Databases: Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle and cloud data platforms like Databricks.
- Integration: Experience documenting and testing APIs, specifically using MuleSoft or similar enterprise API gateways.
- Agile Frameworks: Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or similar tools to manage backlogs, user stories, and technical documentation.
Security & Risk Mindset - Strong awareness of application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), dependency risks, and the security implications of third-party vendor software versus in-house builds.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, or prompt engineering, specifically regarding automated QA testing and developer experience (DevEx) tools.
- Experience in Capital Markets or Enterprise Credit environments.
- Background in "Build vs. Buy" analysis and legacy application migration.
