Overview
We are seeking a Senior OneStream Implementation Consultant with deep expertise in financial systems implementation, configuration, and enterprise transformation. This role requires a hands-on professional who can lead technical configuration while partnering with business stakeholders to design scalable financial solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience implementing the OneStream platform, strong financial systems knowledge, and a proven track record delivering multiple end-to-end implementations within complex organizations, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities
OneStream Implementation & Configuration
- Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of the OneStream platform including Financial Consolidation, Planning, Reporting, and Analytics.
- Configure and optimize workflows, dashboards, cube views, and reporting frameworks.
- Develop and implement complex business rules, calculations, and customizations.
- Design scalable financial models, metadata structures, and dimensional hierarchies.
Data Integration & System Architecture
- Design and manage data integrations and ETL processes between OneStream and enterprise systems (ERP, data warehouses, and other source systems).
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across all financial data pipelines.
- Build and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures supporting financial reporting and analytics.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Lead client workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather business requirements.
- Translate finance and accounting needs into technical architecture and solution design.
- Provide strategic guidance on financial transformation initiatives and system optimization.
Financial Process Expertise
- Support and enhance key finance processes including:
- Financial close and consolidation
- Budgeting and forecasting (FP&A)
- Financial reporting and analytics
- Ensure solutions align with US GAAP and multi-GAAP reporting standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
- Partner with finance leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Provide technical leadership during implementations and project phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system or data issues.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of OneStream implementation and configuration experience
- Experience delivering 3+ full-cycle OneStream implementations
- Prior project experience within the Food & Beverage industry
- Strong expertise in:
- Financial consolidation and reporting
- Financial planning and forecasting
- Data integration and ETL processes
- Proficiency in VB.NET and C# for business rule development and platform extensions
- Strong SQL and database design knowledge, including relational and OLAP concepts
- Ability to lead requirements gathering sessions and design scalable financial solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- OneStream Certified Professional
- Prior experience working with enterprise ERP and data warehouse integrations
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing implementation roles
- Knowledge of enterprise financial transformation initiatives
