Financial Systems Senior Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Senior Architect to support a sophisticated enterprise Finance and Financial Systems Technology environment. This position will provide architectural leadership across applications, infrastructure, cloud, development, cybersecurity, and automation while helping align technology strategy with long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise architecture experience with hands-on technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain current- and future-state architecture models across technology, application, information, and infrastructure domains
* Create logical, physical, and process architecture diagrams and maintain technical documentation and standards
* Partner with Financial Systems Technology teams, project teams, and business stakeholders to evaluate solutions and recommend architectural approaches
* Provide technical guidance supporting projects, technology roadmaps, and strategic initiatives
* Collaborate with internal technology teams and third-party vendors to document and maintain the Financial Systems infrastructure landscape
* Research emerging technologies and assess their potential application within the organization
* Establish and communicate architecture standards, design principles, processes, and technology best practices
* Present technical concepts and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly manner
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to Financial Systems developers
* Coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive enterprise technology initiatives forward
* Perform additional technical and strategic projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Relevant industry certifications such as AWS, CISSP, Professional Cloud Solutions Architect, Open CA, or ITIL
* 4+ years of cloud architecture, technical design, and implementation experience
* 5+ years of experience architecting and delivering enterprise solutions across multiple architecture domains, including technology, applications, information, and infrastructure
* Experience working with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models
* Experience across major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
* Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

5+ years of experience with programming and development technologies such as:
* Java
* JavaScript
* C#
* Python
* HTML/CSS
* JSON and REST APIs
* SQL and NoSQL
* Shell scripting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
