The Work

The Data Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and managing processes that consolidate data from multiple sources into meaningful and usable information.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data integration solutions, including ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design data integration workflows that support organizational goals.
  • Consolidate and transform data from diverse source systems into unified formats for reporting, analytics, or operational use.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and document data integration processes for reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with database administrators, data analysts, software developers, and other stakeholders to facilitate data sharing and accessibility.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across integrated platforms.
  • Maintain integration systems in compliance with organizational policies, data governance frameworks, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor and resolve integration errors or data discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support the migration and synchronization of data between on-premise and cloud-based systems as needed.
  • Prepare system documentation, user guides, and reports to support data integration activities and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities as outlined by the client.
  • Active To Secret/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph.
  • Ability to obtain DoDD 8140.01 (formerly DoDD 8570.01-M) certification / IT Level II within 30 calendar days of indoctrination at HQ INSCOM.
  • Meets all qualifications of a Data Steward / Policy Manager, plus:
    • 4 years demonstrated experience leading a team and managing work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
    • Demonstrated experience working with bilateral or multilateral partners in the areas of intelligence information sharing or intelligence data/system interoperability.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and ability to produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Associates degree with 7 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR High School Diploma with 9 years' experience in an intelligence discipline.

Working Conditions

Pay Range

USD $148,000.00 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
