Purpose of RoleUnder Armour is looking for a Sr. Manager of Engineering to join its Industrial Engineering team in Baltimore, Maryland that supports its North American Distribution organization. This position will be responsible for maintaining/ evolving the Labor Management Program (Manhattan) for the UA North America Distribution Network and will be a key team member in leading the Continuous Improvement Strategy accross the Distribution House and other UA Industrial Engineering DH projects. The other projects will include MHE productivity initiatives and distribution capacity expansions at UA DH's. This role will collaborate closely with DH Operations management, IT and Supply Chain to identify and drive engineering projects that reduce cost, increase capacity and leverages MHE assets.
Your Impact Lead the administration, optimization, and continuous evolution of Manhattan Labor Management (LM), inclusive of incentive-based program across the North American Distribution Network.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Operations to drive data-informed decision-making.
Provide operational analytics, tools (dashboards), and reporting leveraging Manhattan WMS, LM, and WCS to support workforce planning, capacity management, and order fulfillment performance, for complex systems.
Utilize labor management data and other data/process sources to identify process improvement opportunities, support capital project business cases, and quantify operational benefits.
Establish and standardize labor management processes, procedures, and governance to ensure consistent measurement and execution across distribution facilities.
Present labor management strategies, project plans, and performance milestones to operational and executive leadership.
Qualifications Candidate will have bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in distribution engineering or equivalent job functions, that involved optimizing large complex systems . As part of 5 years' experience candidate should have minimum of:
3 years experience in developing or managing labor management ( preferably Manhattan)
5 years' experience in engineering Material Handling solutions in distribution environment
2 years' experience working in distribution design, lean and continuous improvement and understanding of building models (including digital twins).
Experience gathering, developing Labor standards via time studies/ pre-determined motion systems.
Proficient in Excel, Tableau, Query, Power Point, MS Project, Auto CAD
Prior Lean Sigma Experience (Green / Black Belt)
Working across functional departments within Supply Chain
Workplace Location- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore Distribution Center (ODH).
- Work Schedule: In office Monday - Friday
- Travel: This position requires the candidate to be available to travel to UA's DH's and MHE vendors located throughout the US, up to 30% of time.

RelocationBase Compensation$140,000.00-$180,000.00 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
