Role Overview
This is a techno-functional role for a Technical Analyst with experience in order-to-cash or order management systems. The position acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, focusing on system support and data integrity. The role requires an understanding of systems and data to support internal stakeholders across North America. This is a technical analyst position, not a development role, and does not involve coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT to translate requirements and ensure system alignment.
- Utilize SQL to read and run queries for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform data analysis related to customer and product information within the order management system.
- Conduct system monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure applications run efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Perform configuration, setup, and updates of applications.
- Define governance standards and processes for data input and structures.
- Support internal stakeholders including warehouse, manufacturing, customer service, accounting, and product planning.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of seven years of experience in enterprise-wide software support will be considered.
Experience: A minimum of four years of experience in enterprise-wide software support is required. Candidates must have a background that includes both IT and operations experience. Experience should include a focus on order-to-cash or order management processes.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and running SQL queries is required. Experience with data analysis, system monitoring, and troubleshooting is necessary. Knowledge of software development methodologies, SaaS platforms, and database management is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with order management platforms.
- Exposure to Oracle or Apex environments.
- Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and/or Oracle.
