Contract

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to support enterprise data governance initiatives and drive continuous improvement in data management practices.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, data governance, data quality, SQL, data lineage, and enterprise data warehouse environments.

Required Skills:
10+ years of Data Analysis experience.
10+ years of Data Lineage / Data Cataloging experience.
10+ years of Data Policy / Procedure creation.
10+ years of SQL experience.
10+ years of Data Warehouse experience.
10+ years of Requirements Elicitation experience.
7+ years of relational database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.).
Strong understanding of enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Stewardship.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise data governance initiatives, including governance process implementation, data stewardship, data quality, metadata, or access governance.
Experience in government, healthcare, or another regulated environment.
Familiarity with enterprise data integration, interoperability, master and reference data management, and governed data products.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK, DMMI) and process improvement methodologies (BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma).
Familiarity with AWS, Snowflake, Vita standards or relevant professional certifications such as CDMP.
