As EPSRM continues to modernize its portfolio management capabilities, the demand for automation, governance, reporting, and scalable business solutions has grown significantly. The team has successfully established Work Tracker as the system of record and is now transitioning from Smartsheet to Microsoft Power Platform to support future growth, improve data quality, reduce manual effort, and enhance the user experience. This modernization effort includes Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, security design, deployment processes, and workflow automation, all of which require specialized technical expertise.

Bringing in a Lead Application Development Engineer (Power Platform Developer) will provide the dedicated technical leadership needed to accelerate delivery, build sustainable solutions, and reduce reliance on external resources. This role will enable the team to move beyond maintaining processes and reporting toward developing innovative solutions that automate business functions, improve operational efficiency, and support EPSRM's long-term strategic objectives. The investment is not simply about adding a developer; it is about ensuring the success of Work Tracker modernization and establishing a scalable foundation for future Power Platform initiatives across the organization.

- What makes this role unique? A typical day for a Lead Application Development Engineer would focus on turning business requirements into scalable solutions that improve efficiency across EPSRM. The individual would work with stakeholders to understand process challenges, design solutions, and develop Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Dataverse capabilities that support Work Tracker modernization, automation, governance, and reporting initiatives

In addition to development, the role would provide technical leadership by managing deployments, supporting platform governance, troubleshooting issues, mentoring team members, and identifying opportunities to replace manual processes with automated solutions. The ultimate goal is to accelerate delivery of business value, improve data quality and user experience, and establish a scalable Power Platform foundation that supports EPSRM's long-term modernization strategy.
