Senior Technical Project Manager

Position Summary

The Senior Technical Project Manager leads large-scale delivery of guest-facing digital products, including mobile, web, loyalty, and onproperty technology integrations. This role manages complex, multi-team initiatives across a modern cloud-based ecosystem and supports large, distributed engineering and product teams. The position partners closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Data, and Operations to ensure secure, reliable, globally scalable guest technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Leadership

• Drive endtoend delivery of major cross-functional initiatives related to guest-facing digital experiences, including:
  • Mobile and web platforms
  • Loyalty and identity systems
  • Digital check-in/check-out and guest service tools
  • In-room and property-level technology integrations
• Build and manage integrated program plans across multiple Agile teams and external partners.
• Oversee delivery across large, distributed groups (20-40+ contributors) with multiple dependencies.

Technology Alignment

• Guide execution across a modern cloud-native tech stack, including:
  • Cloud platforms: AWS or similar
  • Application layers: iOS/Android, responsive web, backend services
  • APIs & Integrations: REST, event-driven systems, third-party and property-level integrations
  • Data & Identity: loyalty systems, customer identity, analytics
  • Security: IAM, privacy, regulatory compliance, and data protection
• Partner with engineering and architecture leaders on technical dependencies and architectural decisions.
• Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and security requirements are baked into delivery plans.

Agile Execution & Team Leadership

• Provide program-level direction across multiple Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Coordinate sprints, release cycles, and production deployments across interdependent workstreams.
• Mentor project managers and delivery leads on best practices for scaled execution.
• Monitor delivery health, proactively resolving risks and bottlenecks.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of accountability for senior business and technology leaders.
• Translate complex delivery and technical issues into clear executive-level communication.
• Facilitate prioritization, trade-off decisions, and risk mitigation across teams.
• Build strong partnerships with Product, Digital, Technology, and Operations leaders.

Governance, Quality & Operations

• Ensure adherence to enterprise governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Oversee release readiness, cutovers, and post-launch stabilization.
• Support long-term operational ownership of guest-facing platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, tooling, and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of technical project or program management experience.
• Proven success delivering large-scale digital platforms built on cloud and microservices architectures.
• Experience leading large cross-functional, distributed teams (20+ contributors).
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and scaled Agile operating models.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
