Overview

Russell Tobin is seeking a Change Management Consultant to support a high-impact transformation initiative focused on enhancing franchise operations for a global retail organization. This role will play a critical part in driving organizational and behavioral change tied to the rollout of a new franchise booking tool used by partners to select and manage product assortments.

This is a part-time opportunity ideal for an experienced change leader who can operate both strategically and tactically, with a strong emphasis on instructional design and stakeholder engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead change management activities supporting the rollout of a new franchise booking platform
  • Conduct organizational readiness and impact assessments across supply chain, marketing, and franchise stakeholders
  • Partner with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to develop and execute change strategies
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews to identify risks, impacts, and adoption needs
  • Design and deliver communication and engagement plans
  • Develop training strategies, including self-service learning materials and instructional content
  • Create presentations, status updates, and reporting for leadership and project teams



Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in organizational change management / transformation (non-IT focused)
  • Proven ability to conduct impact assessments and build change strategies
  • Instructional design experience (required), including training content development
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or consumer-facing industries
  • Knowledge of retail or digital supply chain operations
  • Familiarity with Prosci or similar change management methodologies
  • Experience working with global teams, particularly across APJ regions



Schedule & Time Zone Expectations

  • Approximately 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
  • Must be comfortable supporting global stakeholders, including:
    • Early meetings (~6 AM PST)
    • Evening meetings (~4–5 PM PST / 7–8 PM EST)
  • Preference for candidates based in PST or CST, but open to EST with flexibility

  • Candidates may hold another role concurrently
  • Opportunity to extend beyond the initial 6-month contract
  • Interview process: ~2 rounds, moving quickly
