Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Role Overview
- This is a Technical Coach role focused on engineering enablement, not a project delivery/development role.
- The coach works directly with engineering teams to improve software development practices, quality, and discipline.
- Core focus is on coaching, mentoring, and teaching modern engineering practices (XP-based).
Time Allocation: Coaching vs Hands-On Work
This was explicitly clarified by the hiring manager:
Engineering Coach & Mentor , 12+ years’ experience guiding teams in modern practices, with 60–90% focus on coaching, mentoring, and enabling engineers rather than delivery ownership.
XP Practices Expertise ,Fluent in TDD (Red → Green → Refactor), Pair Programming (Driver/Navigator), and live coaching to embed engineering discipline across teams.
Hands-On Demonstrator, Strong coding background in Java and Python, able to pair program, refactor, and teach by example during real-time problem solving.
Agile/DevOps Leadership ,Deep knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban), CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, OpenShift), and modern engineering craftsmanship.
Senior-Level Influence, Proven ability to mentor senior engineers and technical leads, drive adoption of best practices, and improve software quality and team behaviors.
