Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on Python, machine learning, data engineering and production AI/ML experience.
The role will support AI/ML and data-driven solutions in a higher-education technology environment. We currently has AI-enabled products covering learner support, engagement, faculty workflows and data-driven decision-making.
The candidate must therefore have recent experience working on an education, higher-education, EdTech, e-learning, LMS, student or learning platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML solutions using Python.
- Develop machine-learning and predictive-modeling solutions.
- Build scalable data-processing and analytics pipelines.
- Work with large and complex datasets.
- Perform data analysis, feature engineering and statistical modeling.
- Develop and integrate AI/ML models into production applications.
- Work with structured and unstructured data.
- Develop solutions involving NLP, computer vision and predictive analytics where applicable.
- Build cloud-based solutions using AWS.
- Work with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, SQS, SNS and Redshift.
- Develop APIs and backend services using Python frameworks.
- Work with PostgreSQL, Oracle and SQL-based data platforms.
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Work with Git-based CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize production applications and ML solutions.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, architects and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, documentation and production support.
Required Skills
- 8–10+ years of software, data or ML engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Python
- Strong hands-on Machine Learning / AI
- Recent experience working with a higher-education, EdTech, e-learning, LMS, student or learning platform

Candidates should have actual hands-on production experience, not only coursework, research or proof-of-concept work.
