Incentive Operations Specialist

Location: San Francisco, California (Remote)

Role Overview

We are hiring an Incentive Operations Specialist to manage the operational backbone of partner incentives. You will process the incentive queue, manage vendor onboarding and payouts with the Finance department, maintain reconciliation records, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and reporting. This role relies on judgment for edge cases, accuracy checks, and relationship management, while automation handles routine volume.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage and process partner incentive submissions, including deal registrations and various funds, within service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage the finance vendor-onboarding process for new partners and ensure accurate, on-time payouts.
  • Maintain the source-of-truth reconciliation tracker for all funds under administration.
  • Apply incentive program rules to edge cases and escalate issues related to program design or budget as needed.
  • Document SOPs for each incentive type, establish SLAs, and report on volume and cycle time to ensure process consistency.
Required Qualifications

You may be a good fit if you have experience in operations, finance operations, partner/channel operations, deal desk, or a similar high-accuracy processing role. Candidates should be meticulous with details and numbers. You should be comfortable running and improving automated workflows and organized with trackers and reconciliations. The role requires clear communication with partners and internal teams and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with partner incentive programs such as market development funds, co-investment funds, or referral fees.
  • Previous experience running vendor onboarding or payment processing with a Finance or Accounts Payable team.
  • A history of building or documenting operational SOPs, SLAs, and reporting from scratch.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce.
