Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Automation Senior Manager to lead a squad in the execution, optimization, and performance of marketing automation campaigns. This role is responsible for leading a team of Marketo campaign developers, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-impact journeys and campaigns that drive engagement, acquisition, and retention. The ideal candidate will possess strong management experience, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the Marketo platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Marketo campaign developers, providing coaching and guidance on scalable build approaches.
  • Foster a culture of agility, continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
  • Oversee the end-to-end design and execution of multichannel campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and error-free.
  • Establish, measure, and monitor operational key performance indicators.
  • Track and monitor campaign performance, providing actionable insights to improve conversion and engagement.
  • Manage team capacity and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Lead optimization efforts for inefficient or unscalable campaigns or journeys.

  • Align team priorities with the organization's most important objectives.
Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience with Marketo is required. The candidate should have a background in managing people who are users of the tool, focusing on campaign execution rather than platform setup or integration. Experience in a large company environment is beneficial.

Technical Skills: The role requires an understanding of Marketo as a tool and its value. The candidate should be a digital marketer who knows how to use the platform for omni-channel journey execution.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Marketo certification.
  • Familiarity with the Adobe stack, particularly Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
  • Experience with Agile Marketing methodologies.
  • Operational team leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance best practices.
