Job Title: Cobra Support Representative
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 6 months contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST (1-hour lunch)
Hours: 40 hours/week (No overtime or weekend work expected)
The COBRA Support Representative will play a key role in supporting our COBRA Administration product and ensuring a positive customer experience. You will partner closely with customers, participants, brokers, and internal teams to resolve inquiries, address issues, and provide guidance on COBRA administration processes and compliance requirements. This includes researching and resolving cases, troubleshooting system and process-related concerns, educating customers on product functionality and best practices, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all interactions. By combining strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset, you will build trust, deliver exceptional service, and help customers achieve ongoing success with client .
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the team on all process and procedures related to the support of our COBRA Administration product
- Review and manage open enrollment projects with each member of the team and assist in moving projects forward
- Work closely with clients and partners to understand their needs and deliver support on time while building a strong relationship for lasting success
- Be a fast learner ready to leverage our technology, tools and best practices to implement clients on our solution
- Apply strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and data management skills
- Set and reset expectations clearly and be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
- Conduct Web-based training of our products
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a customer support or implementation type role
- Experience in the HCM or benefits sector
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Experience with Benefits Administration and/or Health Insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of UKG Ready
- Exceptional communication and follow up skills with a strong attention to detail
- Must be proficient with, and adopter of new technologies
- Takes ownership and proactively addresses challenges and opportunities
- Creative team player with proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
