Job Description

We are seeking an Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Epic Willow Inpatient configuration, inpatient pharmacy workflows, and EHR support operations, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions, meet SLAs, and collaborate with cross-functional and offshore teams.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the SME for Epic Willow Inpatient workflows and configurations.


• Manage and prioritize daily support, incidents, and service requests per SLAs.


• Monitor and resolve error queues, label and printer issues, and pharmacy automation interfaces.


• Troubleshoot dispensing cabinet and robot interfaces, including ID mapping.


• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.


• Build and maintain inpatient pharmacy configurations within Epic EHR.


• Manage medication order sets, formulary setup, dose checking, and medication loads (Medi-Span).


• Configure NDC billing builds, pharmacy charge maps, and 340B billing workflows.


• Support medication build activities including IV mixtures, compounding, and repackaging.


• Develop and maintain BPA/OPA alerts to support clinical decision-making and safety.


• Support CPOE and pharmacy verification workflows for medication order management.


• Engage client stakeholders and align system capabilities with clinical and business needs.


• Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy operations, nurses, and physicians to optimize workflows.


• Coordinate with Accenture, software vendors, client contacts, and offshore teams.


• Participate in team meetings and communicate progress, risks, and resource needs.


• Maintain documentation for workflows, build specifications, and testing protocols.


• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data governance, medication safety, and security policies.


• Develop end-user training materials and conduct training sessions.


• Support design, testing, and implementation for upgrades and enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Epic Willow Inpatient certification, current and maintained.


• 4+ years of Epic application management and support experience.


• Hands-on inpatient pharmacy operations and Willow Inpatient configuration expertise.


• Proficiency in EHR support operations, SLA adherence, and root cause analysis.


• Experience with medication billing configuration, NDC builds, charge maps, and 340B workflows.


• Pharmacy automation integration, dispensing cabinet and robot interface troubleshooting, and ID mapping.


• BPA/OPA alert build, label and printer support, and error queue management.


• Medi-Span medication loads, IV mixtures, compounding, and repackaging builds.


• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Additional Epic certifications such as Ambulatory, Home Infusion, or Bugsy.


• Experience coordinating with offshore teams.


• Background in healthcare IT consulting or large health system environments.

Role Logistics & Additional Details

• Work Mode: Remote. Local presence not required.


• Visa: Cannot sponsor H1B visas.


• Vaccination: No mandate.


• Travel: Client-paid travel and expenses when required.


• Industry Experience: Required to enable effective interaction with healthcare teams.


• Extension Probability: 50%.

Must-Have Skills:

• Epic Willow Ambulatory certification with configuration expertise. 4+ years.


• Ambulatory pharmacy workflow knowledge and clinical requirement translation. 4+ years.


• EHR support operations and SLA management. 4+ years.
