Travel - potential to travel to other Client HQ and Field Office Locations using a State Vehicle.

Required Education: Bachelor s Degree OR Four Years of Relevant Experience in Addition

to Required Years of Experience

DAILY DUTIES:

• Daily duties include managing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a statewide
• network infrastructure built upon a foundation of various solutions, such as Cisco/Meraki,
• Palo Alto, Fortinet/FortiGate, Certes, and Citrix NetScaler, and Trellix technologies.
• The Sr. Network Engineer will be proactive in their approach to monitor network
• performance, ensure efficient communication across the network, review and improve
• security compliance through cybersecurity best practices, and implement updates or
• changes to maintain optimal connectivity and secure version compliance.
• Candidate will be part of a multi-team environment and must have the ability to work as
• part of those teams and must have the ability to support multiple tasks at the same time, in
• a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate will work closely with technical teams
• and should be able to provide knowledge transfer and informal training to peers where
• appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform the configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of networking
• products.
• Troubleshoot network failures and identify network problems.
• Network analysis, design, installation, configuration, and support.
• Maintain network diagrams and other network documentation.
• Provide configuration, troubleshooting and problem resolution support.
• Troubleshoot and remediate issues in a complex, voice-integrated infrastructure.

Required Skills (Ranked in Order of Importance)

• 10+ years of experience with Cisco firewalls
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco routers
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco switches
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco VPN
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco administration
• 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of experience with knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools
• 10+ years of experience in core network architecture
• 10+ years of experience with advanced troubleshooting, routing, and switching
• 4+ years of experience with wireless networks
• 3+ years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS: CCNA, CCNP
