Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving company while honing your skills in fixed assets, revenue recognition, month-end close, and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily accounting operations across the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, accruals, fixed assets, and revenue recognition
2. Lead and coordinate the monthly and annual close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
3. Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for external audits and tax filings while serving as the primary liaison with outside auditors and tax advisors
4. Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all applicable tax filings and reporting requirements, including sales and franchise tax
5. Maintain compliance with GAAP and assist in strengthening internal accounting processes and controls
6. Collaborate with operational leaders and internal departments to review expenses, resolve billing discrepancies, and provide financial visibility to leadership
7. Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement more efficient accounting procedures and workflows

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in fixed assets, revenue recognition, month-end close, and account reconciliation.
