About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, build, and manage automation solutions for enterprise cloud and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) platforms. This role will focus on developing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), implementing repeatable automation workflows, and enabling consistent, scalable infrastructure deployments across cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD practices, along with a solid understanding of Linux, virtualization technologies, and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and automation frameworks.
- Build and enhance automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle management.
- Integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and repeatable deployments.
- Develop reusable automation patterns, standards, and best practices across infrastructure platforms.
- Collaborate with virtualization and platform engineering teams to automate the deployment and management of HCI stack components.
- Support automation initiatives for hosting platforms such as OpenShift and Tanzu.
- Automate infrastructure validation, updates, and controlled delivery mechanisms to reduce operational risk and manual effort.
- Troubleshoot automation workflows, infrastructure issues, and deployment failures across Linux-based environments.
- Participate in change management, release planning, and production readiness activities.
What We re Looking For:
- 4 5 years of experience in infrastructure automation engineering within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Strong experience with Ansible and configuration management automation.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline-driven deployments.
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $65 $70 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
