his is a Senior Business Analyst position in a large, complex local government organization for the purpose of assisting in
implementing a complex, large-scale application.
The candidate must live in South Florida, candidates from other regions will not be considered, relocations are not accepted.
This candidate will work alongside a diverse technical team of analysts working on a modernization project including the
analysis, design, testing and implementation of a vendor application package, working directly with customers and vendor
solution provider through the project lifecycle.
Five years of experience in business analysis are required.
Experience with the following is required:
5+ years of experience in working with complex IT software projects in a large organization.
Proven experience with end-to-end software implementation from requirements gathering, design,
development, testing, training, deployment, to support.
Strong experience in collaboration with stakeholders from various departments and professional background,
to define project scope, requirements, business goals and technical deliverables.
Leading and facilitating effective requirements gathering sessions with business users and technical staff.
Performing business process analysis, including understanding, mapping and documenting current and
future state business processes, and working with stakeholders to identify and implement efficiencies and
improvements.
Proficient in developing test plans, scenarios, test cases for various types of testing, including working with
and assisting end users during user acceptance testing.
Developing training materials and user documentation to support end user training.
Experience with data migration including source-to-target mapping, documentation of transformation logic,
and validation of migrated data across systems.
Proficient in both written and verbal communications.
