RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Unified Communications Director (Hands-on) for a contract to hire, on site position in midtown New York, NY. This could also be considered a senior-level Unified Communications Lead. This role is an exceptional opportunity with a well-known and respected client!

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Unified Communications or Telecommunications professional to support, administer, and optimize enterprise and hospital-based communication systems. This role supports mission-critical services across multiple facilities and leads large-scale telecommunications projects.

Responsibilities:
* Support, administer, and optimize enterprise voice, data, VoIP, and RightFax systems
* Troubleshoot complex network and telecommunications issues and perform root cause analysis
* Lead and manage telecommunications projects impacting multiple sites
* Oversee daily operations for PBX, VoIP, mobile devices, paging systems, and related technologies
* Collaborate with vendors and carriers to support implementations and resolve outages
* Maintain system documentation, inventories, and operational standards
* Provide leadership, guidance, and training to junior staff
* Ensure high availability of critical communications services, including 24/7 support coverage

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience with unified communications, VoIP, PBX, RightFax, and enterprise network environments
* Hands-on experience with Cisco voice and network technologies, circuits, switching, etc. preferred
* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
* Proven ability to lead projects and manage multi-site environments
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong preference for Healthcare or Telecommunications industry experience like ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile US

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
