Sr. Tech UKG Lead – UKG Workforce Management
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract with potential for FTE

Position Overview

  • We are seeking a Tech Lead with strong UKG Workforce Management experience to provide hands-on technical leadership for a large-scale UKG implementation.
  • This role will partner with the Solution Architect and Senior Engineers to drive integrations, technical architecture, security model development, and overall technical execution.
  • The ideal candidate can operate at both the architecture and hands-on development levels and has experience turning technical designs into working UKG solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for UKG Workforce Management implementation.
  • Partner with the Solution Architect on technical architecture and solution design.
  • Lead the design and development of UKG integrations, APIs, interfaces, and data flows.
  • Help define and implement the UKG security model, including roles and access.
  • Guide and review the work of Senior Engineers and integration developers.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical and integration issues.
  • Work closely with functional SMEs, architects, developers, and enterprise teams.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Required
Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on UKG Workforce Management experience. (Large Scale Implemetations)
  • Experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or similar role on UKG implementations.
  • Strong experience with UKG integrations, APIs, interfaces, and data flows.
  • Experience with security models, roles, permissions, and access controls.
  • Ability to translate architecture into hands-on technical solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and guide technical teams while remaining hands-on.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Healthcare or other highly regulated enterprise experience.
  • Experience integrating UKG with HR, payroll, IAM, or other enterprise systems.

Travel:  willingness is a must… Preferred Locations:
Rhode Island, Arizona, or Dallas, TX.  But all this team is remote.

Travel – couple of times during the project.  Once they kick if off, he’ll have a better sense of that. Planning for remote, but if there’s a gathering with the business..
