Role: Networking Specialist - Google Cloud Platform

Location: Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Networking Specialist with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) networking services and enterprise infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, secure, and optimize scalable cloud networking solutions supporting Google's cloud environments, hybrid connectivity, and modern application architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Google Cloud Platform network architectures including VPCs, subnets, routing, firewall policies, and network segmentation.
• Configure and manage Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud NAT, Cloud VPN, and Interconnect services.
• Build secure hybrid connectivity solutions between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, routing, and firewalls.
• Support Kubernetes (GKE) networking, ingress/egress controls, service mesh, and network policies.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
• Implement network security controls, IAM policies, RBAC, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, SRE, security, and application teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Optimize network performance, reliability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Create architecture documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of networking and cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) networking services.

• VPC Service Controls (VPC-SC) , Interconnect Strategies
• Cloud Interconnect / Hybrid Redundancy Planning, Advanced Load Balancing & NVA Integration (F5), Advanced BGP Routing & Traffic Engineering, Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) Networking
• Network Connectivity Center (NCC), VMware NSX/HCX, GKE Data Plane V2 default-deny micro-segmentation, and VPC-SC perimeters

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer Certification.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, or Cloudflare.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cloud migrations.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

Nice to Have:

• GKE, Service Mesh, and Container Networking.
• Cloud Security and Zero Trust architectures.
• AI Infrastructure Networking supporting Vertex AI and GPU environments.
• Multi-cloud networking experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
