System Test Data Manager

The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all MDS ground tests and flight tests in which the C2BMC program is a participant. The System Test Data Manager is responsible for the collection, processing, delivery, and integrity of all test event data. Data is retrieved from testbeds and labs, as well as the operational environment. Ground test types include: pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters. International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests.
The Data Manager is also responsible for:
- Handling real-world event (RWE) data requests
- Satisfying analysts' requests for 'truth' data
- Managing server and NAS disk space
- Archiving data per System Test processes
- Coordinating with FFRDC and Contractor analysts, Execution Leads, System Integrators, program leadership, and Government customer
- Generating data processing/delivery status reports
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a data manager or Linux systems administrator
- Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program
- Strong Linux and/or Windows Server skills
- Rudimentary coding skills to develop scripts to assist in automating data collection and management activities
- Basic troubleshooting skills and an ability to understand the software components running in a widely distributed, virtual environment
- Shell scripting, cron jobs, tools, automation
- DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) required
- Desired: Python, Java
- Desired: Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program
- Desired: Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
