Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer / Systems Administrator with strong experience in managing both Linux and Windows environments, along with hands-on expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V. This role will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support Linux and Windows server environments
Manage and maintain VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms
Perform system installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across infrastructure
Ensure system security, backups, and disaster recovery processes
Manage Active Directory, user access, and group policies (Windows)
Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure improvements
Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience in Systems Administration / Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
- Windows Server environments
- VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- Hyper-V
Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning
Knowledge of networking basics (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Experience with backup and recovery solutions
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
