Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager Supply Chain to lead and execute complex, cross-functional projects supporting supply chain transformation initiatives within the organization s Business Applications environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong Supply Chain Project Management experience, extensive exposure to SAP ERP implementations, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects across logistics, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, and distribution.
The candidate should possess strong business and IT partnership skills and be comfortable working with executive stakeholders, business teams, IT organizations, third-party system integrators, and SAP service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex supply chain transformation projects.
- Manage projects across transportation, warehousing, distribution, logistics, and 3PL operations.
- Lead initiatives ranging from project ideation and evaluation through software implementation, product launches, system upgrades, facility expansions, and process improvements.
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain integrated Logistics and Transportation program/project plans, timelines, and governance.
- Drive project management best practices for logistics execution at a global level while ensuring effective regional implementation.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Gain cross-functional alignment on project strategies, objectives, resources, milestones, and timelines.
- Partner with business Project Managers to organize and lead core team meetings and executive steering committee meetings.
- Prepare and present project status updates, risks, issues, milestones, critical path activities, and recommendations to project sponsors and executive leadership.
- Identify and drive resolution of project constraints, conflicts, dependencies, and other challenges that may impact successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team members and track progress against milestones.
- Manage the quality and timely completion of key project deliverables, including:
- Kickoff presentations
- Detailed project schedules
- Project budget vs. actuals
- Business blueprints
- Test plans
- Training plans
- Manage project issues and risks, escalating appropriately and ensuring timely resolution.
- Lead Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, training development, end-user training, and solution adoption.
- Ensure projects comply with internal business processes, quality-system requirements, and applicable external regulatory standards.
- Manage relationships with third-party system integrators, SAP Services, and other external service providers.
- Lead technical and functional project teams using Agile project delivery methodologies where appropriate.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience leading major, cross-functional projects, preferably within Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain environments.
- PMP Certification is required.
- Strong experience in SAP Supply Chain Project Management.
- Proven experience leading SAP ERP implementation projects involving SAP ECC 6.0 and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Hands-on experience managing SAP S/4HANA projects and phased global implementations within multinational organizations.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical and cross-functional project teams in an Agile environment.
- Experience managing projects involving multiple SAP modules and complex enterprise environments.
- Experience working with third-party system integrators, SAP Services, and other implementation/service providers.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes across areas such as:
- Deliver / Logistics
- Transportation
- Warehousing
- Distribution

- Make
- Source
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, risk management, and change management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office and JIRA.
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP EWMS / Extended Warehouse Management.
- Experience with SAP TMS / Transportation Management.
- Experience with SAP ECC 6.0.
- At least two successful end-to-end SAP ECC 6.0 and/or S/4HANA implementations in mid-size organizations.
- Experience delivering SAP implementations within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
- Experience with global SAP rollouts and phased implementations.
- Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing industries.
- Experience supervising or managing project team members.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a plus.
